Pump stations are crucial components that help to pump and transport sewage, wastewater, and stormwater from low-lying areas to higher elevation areas where it can be treated and disposed of safely. However, maintaining pump stations' optimal performance is not an easy task. They can experience issues such as blockages, equipment failures, and power outages. 

Global Water recently supplied five EnviroLift concrete pump stations for SA Water projects in Adelaide's fast-developing northern region. These included Burgundy Estate, Direk Vicinity, Brookmont Estate, Miravale and Angle Vale - new developments that required efficient sewer infrastructure.

 In larger commercial, industrial and infrastructure developments, gravity drainage is not always possible. In these situations a pump station is required to collect and transfer water or wastewater from a low point to a higher discharge location.
