EB Series Vertical Multistage Pumps
The EB Series are vertical multistage pumps of inline design. The pumps are available in different inlet and outlet sizes and various numbers of stages to provide the flow and pressure required.
Features of the EB series include:
The DrainAce Compact is commonly found in restaurants, basements of high-rise buildings, boardrooms, laboratories, doctor or dental surgeries, construction sites and portable buildings. Units are also available for greasy waste discharge from grease arrestors.
The EB Series of vertical multistage pumps can be installed in the following applications:
The Global Water EB Series Vertical Multistage pumps are of inline design, flanged or with victaulic couplings with equally sized suction and discharge ports.
The mechanical seals are standard cartridge type, made of Silicon Carbide/Silicon Carbide/EPDM or Viton. Depending on the application, alternative materials are available for the seal and the elastomers. The cartridge type mechanical seal can be replaced in minutes without special tools and without dismantling the pump.
Running multiple duty pumps in parallel to achieve a maximum design flow rate enables a more robust and versatile pumpset, able to achieve very small flows and increased reliability.
Inclusion of an optional standby pump can greatly enhance reliability for critical systems such as potable water supply systems. When combined with automatic alternation of the duty pumps, this also spreads wear of the pumps - improving the shelf-life of the system.
As part of the EB series, there are EB, EBI and EBN pumps. Each can pump different categories of liquids. The following applies:
When choosing the pump version, it’s imperative that consideration is made to the flow medium, such as density, solidification point, viscosity as well as hazardous protection requirements. The operating limits of the pumps, based on pressure and temperature, must also be considered.
