PRODUCT INFORMATION

Tradewaste treatment systems include a variety of components - all of which can be used in conjunction with one another or as a complete system. During consultation with a Global Water team member, your site’s requirements will be discussed, and the appropriate package will be offered.

Global Water provides a wide range of devices, including but not limited to:

Grease arrestor: The Grease Muncher GM700 is a lightweight compact grease arrestor frequently installed in cafes and takeaway restaurants. This device is SA Water approved, and successfully achieves 1000 L/hr flow rate. It attains an efficiency by solids and grease reduction up to 90%, BOD reductions by 45% and a biological filter that removes solids down to 2 mm.

Oil Water Separator: The Oil Muncher coalescing plate oil separators are enhanced gravity separators capable of removing oils and solids from trade waste and washdown. As oily water is introduced into an inlet chamber, heavy solids settle out and 100% oil slugs rise immediately to the surface. Remaining oil water mixture flows through a stack of closely spaced, corrugated polypropylene plates.

DrainAce Compact Undersink Pump Station: This undersink pump station is a suitable solution where gravity discharge from sink or other appliances, to a sewer connection or treatment device is not available. These pump stations are commonly installed in conjunction with a Global Water Grease Muncher. These units are capable of handling discharge up to 40 °C.

EcoTreat™ Full Retention Class 1 Device: Traditionally stormwater treatment devices, the EcoTreat Full Retention Class 1 Device can be utilised in tradewaste applications - where a coalescing treatment is required in the separation of oils, grease, and suspended solids.

Chemical dosing / Chlorine Dosing: Chemical dosing allows for pH correction - ensuring levels of tradewaste meet the local distribution’s water guidelines. Besides this, dosing systems offer chlorine gas and sodium hypochlorite disinfection and fluoride for a wide range of applications. To achieve consistent dosing, dosing pumps capable of handling harsh chemicals are incorporated.
